Kirk Young introduced Dan Heitzenrater – President & CEO, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.

Dan was born and raised in Chautauqua County.  He mentioned how important it was for him to stay local.  Dan attended Jamestown Community College and transferred to Fredonia for his 4-year degree.
Mr. Heitzenrater worked with 3 separate Chautauqua County Executives before taking the position at the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.  He also worked with Congressman Tom Reed.  Dan is very passionate about public service.

The Chamber is very similar to his work at the county.  Very exciting and a lot of items happening. Happy to be aligned with our local business community.

Most community members are familiar with Chamber’s Shop Local CHQ programming.  Mr. Heitzenrater reminded the club that there are a lot of exciting things coming up for the holiday season and he encouraged us to shop local.  The CCCC also offers the Shop Local CHQ gift card.  Over 140 local businesses who participate in this program.  Over $80,000 was invested back into the community in 2020.
