John Healey, immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Jamestown, presented Chris Anderson with the organization’s “Service Above Self” award at a recent meeting.

Anderson has been a member of the club for 19 years. He is the recipient of a Paul Harris Award and has served on the Camp, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Literacy, Social, Youth Services, and Communications committees and is in the middle of a second consecutive three-year term on the Board of Directors.

Anderson maintains the club website and social media accounts, posting meetings and achievements on a weekly basis, working to keep the members and the community informed of the club’s accomplishments. He and his family hosted the recent Danish exchange student Joah this year. Healey said Anderson is quick to volunteer and lend his talents to the club and demonstrates “Service Above Self” through his actions for the club.

Marketing, Business Development and Internet/Ecommerce Manager of The Resource Center, Anderson is also owner of Snowcrest Digital and Chris Anderson Images. He attended Jamestown Community College where he earned an associate degree in mathematics and science; Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelors in Sports/Business Management and St. Bonaventure University where he earned his MBA in Marketing.

Anderson and his wife Amy are the parents of three children, two girls and a boy.
