Literacy Committee is looking for reading volunteers for Bush School next month.  

Humane Society & Lit Committee are teaming up 5/23 for an event at the Jamestown Library.  

Hiking & Picnic event on 4/29 with local students, contact Ruth for more information.  

July 17th is the Rotary Golf Tournament, please help with teams/sponsors/baskets.  

Joah is looking for sponsors for his .5K Fun Run, sign-ups sheet available next week  

50/50 Winner: $34 was paid out to Hadley Weinberg who gave his winnings to our speaker!

Sergeant At Arms: John Healy stepped in, fining all but 3 people for not attending the District Conference, along with others who were in the news recently.  

Happy Bucks: Many Happy Bucks were shared, please see the video for details, I couldn’t keep up!

Terri Johnson - CHQ Plus Retail Store

Terri has been with TRC for 23 years and is currently the Director of Employment and Employee Services, helping with Employment Opportunities for disabled community members. 

 
Terri spoke today about the CHQ+ Store at 221 Cherry St. which is on the corner of 3rd and Cherry St. in Jamestown.  The store is a collaboration between TRC, Gebbie Foundation, and the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.  They provide pre-vocational services in retail for its employees, as well as an affordable option for local small businesses to showcase their goods and products.  Some examples are local art, custom engraved wood products, jewelry, Tarp Skunk apparel, Nolan’s Nest products, White Cane Coffee, and Pearl City Popcorn to name a few.
