Rotarily Yours – July 14, 2025
 

The day started out cloudy with a few sprinkles of rain but gradually grew into a beautiful, sunny, hot, and humid July great day to play the 30th Annual Rotary Charity Golf Tournament at the Moon Brook Country Club out club helped to establish in 1920.

A full field of golfers tried their best at the famed, local course and when all was said and done, Club Pro Ben Windoft announced the winners.

Max Eimiller won the low Rotarian trophy for the second year in a row, carding a net 74. 

First place winners of the 2 Best Ball of 4 division with a scorecard playoff of 125 were

Tim Shults, Hans Auer, Roy Glosser and Tom Holt.

2nd Place winners also carding 125 were:

Derek Dawson, Kurt Johnson Jon Gren, and Mike Martinelli.

Third place winners with 128 were:

Ken Brown, Kris Olson, Blake Tarana, and John Rasmussen.

First place winners in the Scramble division with a scorecard playoff of 52 were:

Mike Bird, Todd Conklin, Jeff Keppel, and Jerome Lee Yaw.

Second place Scramble winners also carding a 52 were:

Shannon Davis, Dave Bleck, Brian Nolan, and Mike Allen.

Third place Scramble winners with a score of 53 were:

Dewey Jones, Steve Winterstein, Brandon Walker, and Mike Lawhead.

Closest to the Pin on #4 were John Rasmussen and Joelle Washer and closest on #13 were Tom Holt and Janet Bowman.

The longest drive for the gentlemen on #10 was Derek Dawson and for the ladies on #18 was Joelle Washer.

Todd Allen was the winner of the putting contest.

Ring of Fire sponsored by Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union winners included:
