Blackstone Advanced Technologies, LLC is a leader in full-service sheet metal fabrication. Located in Jamestown, New York and occupying a 275,000-sq. ft. facility, Blackstone produces quality custom products and components, as a contract manufacturer to the Electronic, Medical, Communication, Industrial, Machinery, Marine Construction, and Transportation Industries. They are ISO 9001:2008 certified and have a comprehensive Quality Management System.

Currently, Blackstone Advanced Technologies employs 75 people and is a women-owned business.  Ricky and Heather Turner purchased the business in 2014.  Both wanted to move closer to home and this opportunity was the catalyst that brought them back home.  Year 2014 for was very busy for the Turners.  They bought their first house on October 3, got married on October 19 and on December 31, officially purchased Blackstone Advanced Technologies.  And, most recently they welcomed a new baby into the world.  The Turners are busy!

Blackstone Advanced Technologies LLC has been around for over 100 years under various types of ownership, but has always been committed to the sheet metal business.
A majority of the production processes at Blackstone Advanced Technologies LLC involves cutting and punching sheet metal.  Some materials that are used are stainless steel and aluminum.  Blackstone buys the raw materials, which then get laser cut and the sheet metal is customized to the customer’s precise needs.

Blackstone’s customers include General Electric, Alstom, WABTEC, Nippon Sharyo, Mitsubishi, Lockheed Martin, and others.  Blackstone is most well-known for the HVAC unit enclosures they produce for the Mass Transit Authority of New York City.  Blackstone also manufactures the cubic pay fare system enclosure that is found in the New York City subway system as well.  Jamestown does have a presence in NYC! Blackstone is also proud to build all the marine furniture for the submarines in the US Navy.  They also build what is called a self-contained breathing apparatus for the Department of Defense.

Blackstone is proud to employ talented welders and fabricators.  They train all their welders in house.  The company is truly a place where employees can learn and put their skills to important use.

The Turners are well known in the area for being a community-minded family.  Blackstone, in particular, donated the materials and welding for floating docks for the Chautauqua Lake Community Sailing Foundation; partnered with Cassadaga Valley School to build tent frames to give to local boy scouts; and participated in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon and DreamIt DoIt initiatives.
